Shop Local: The Bird's Nest
One of my Fridays jaunts in August found me in High Springs. Now, High Springs is a very cool little town. Little shops line Main Street, and whether you’re looking for thrift stores, antiques, desserts, or farm house decor, a little something can be found for everyone.
Mrs. Jo Carol, Mom, and I walked the streets that morning, ate at Bev’s, then had an escapade trying to track down some dessert.
Something I had been looking for prior to making my way to High Springs had been some wooden dishes to display my crystals in. It wasn’t anything I was actively looking for, just one of those things where if I found it, I would be happy.
On our stroll up and down the street, we walked into a little shop called The Bird’s Nest. Oh my word. If there was a store that just screamed “Joanna Gaines,” this would be it. The farmhouse decor was beautiful! They carry such neat items.
As I made my way to the back of the store...low and behold, the wooden dishes that I needed were there! They were perfect!!! They are currently on my bookshelf in my room, beautifully displaying my crystals.
Also, while in there, I found a perfect Christmas gift for someone on my list. I would elaborate, but I’m afraid she’ll read this.
If you, or someone you’re shopping for, are all about Chip and Joanna, or have a love of everything farmhouse, The Bird’s Nest is a must stop at!
