Winter Books

Lately, my bookshelf has been covered in Joanne Fluke books, as I have been trying to finish up the Hannah Swensen series. I swear, the book where Hannah finally gets married (possibly like book #24 or 25 of the series), took me what seemed like forever! Not that it was bad--not in the slightest--my life was just super busy, and I could only read it in small spurts. I'm almost done with it, and it has been wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes light-hearted mysteries.

As the days are getting cooler, and the afternoons get dark much earlier, I have been longing to read some of my favorite "Winter" books. There are certain books that I love to read in specific seasons. Example: I want to read a Mary Kay Andrews book every summer, particularly Summer Rental. In the Winter, I want to read books like Donna Tartt's The Secret History, Paullina Simons' The Bronze Horseman, and Paullina Simons' Red Leaves.

I'm kind of curious…Does anyone else do this? Are there specific books that you must read during certain seasons? If so, I would love to hear your picks. I'm always looking for new books!
